Indian spinner Shree Charani has etched her name in the record books by surpassing Poonam Yadav for the highest number of wickets taken by an Indian in a single ICC Women's T20 World Cup. This remarkable achievement occurred during a group stage match against Bangladesh in Manchester on Thursday, where Charani, currently the world's top-ranked T20I bowler, showcased her skills.
In the match, Charani delivered an impressive performance, claiming 2 wickets for 21 runs in her four overs, dismissing Nahida Akter and Shorna Akter.
