Shocking Revelations in TCS Nashik Conversion Case
TCS Nashik Case Overview
In a startling development regarding the TCS BPO in Nashik, Maharashtra, serious allegations of conversion and sexual harassment have emerged involving HR head Nida Khan. Colleagues reportedly referred to her as the 'Dabang Ma'am' due to her intimidating presence in the office.
Nida Khan's Role and Allegations
The case continues to unfold with new revelations each day. Nida Khan's influence extended beyond typical HR responsibilities, as she was frequently seen alongside team leaders instructing female employees on Islamic dress codes and behaviors.
Victims have claimed that these were not mere suggestions but rather coercive pressures. One employee recounted how Khan explicitly demonstrated how to wear a burqa. The HR department's involvement has also come under scrutiny, with reports indicating that a female officer discouraged a victim from filing a complaint, dismissing such incidents as commonplace.
Details of the Allegations
Investigations revealed that the accused had created a WhatsApp group used to target employees. Victims allege that Nida Khan was a member of this group. According to the FIR, employees faced coercion to perform prayers, consume non-vegetarian food, and adopt religious symbols.
Nida Khan Seeks Anticipatory Bail
Recently, after being on the run for several days, Nida Khan approached the Nashik court seeking anticipatory bail. A hearing on her application is expected soon. Prosecutors may oppose her bail, arguing that she played a pivotal role in preparing and coercing victims into following religious customs.
Increase in Number of Victims
The number of identified victims has risen to 12, with 9 women formally filing FIRs. Additionally, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has identified three more victims, who are currently undergoing counseling before their statements are recorded.
