Mandsaur News: The rise in heinous crimes and betrayal in relationships in Madhya Pradesh has left society appalled. A particularly shocking incident has emerged from Mandsaur, where a wife conspired with her lover to eliminate her husband, leading to a crime so horrific that even the police were taken aback. In a chilling act, she not only murdered her husband but also attempted to destroy evidence by burning the body and dismembering it before burying the remains in a field using a JCB.

The incident took place in the Bhanupara police jurisdiction, specifically in the village of Dudhakhedi. The victim has been identified as Dhanraj Nath. Reports indicate that Dhanraj's wife, Dhapubai, had been involved in a long-term affair with a local man named Pankaj Chaudhary. Upon discovering this illicit relationship, Dhanraj confronted his wife, leading to frequent domestic disputes. Blinded by her infatuation, Dhapubai decided to eliminate her husband and executed this horrifying plan on the night of April 10.

Body Disposed of in the Field

According to the plan, Dhanraj was brutally attacked with a sickle and a sword. The assailants continued their assault until Dhanraj breathed his last. Following the murder, they crossed all limits of brutality. To erase any traces of their crime, they dismembered the body and attempted to burn it. Ultimately, they summoned a JCB to dig a deep pit in the field and buried the remains there.

Children Expose Mother's Deed

The revelation of this gruesome murder unfolded like a scene from a detective film. After Dhanraj went missing, his wife Dhapubai reported his disappearance at the police station, raising no suspicions initially. However, the couple's children harbored doubts about their mother and Pankaj. They informed the police that their father was last seen with Pankaj, after which he never returned home. As the police examined technical evidence and CCTV footage, connections began to emerge.

Truth Revealed During Interrogation

When Pankaj was taken into custody and rigorously interrogated, he confessed to the crime. The police subsequently excavated the field and discovered the mutilated body. As news of this brutality spread through the village, tensions escalated. Local residents blocked the Garoth-Bhanpur road in protest, demanding the death penalty for the accused, a narco test, and the demolition of their illegal properties.

Mandsaur SP Vinod Meena provided updates on the case, stating that initially, the wife had come forward to file a missing person report. However, based on CCTV and technical evidence, suspicions arose, leading to Pankaj's apprehension. During questioning, it was revealed that the murder was committed by strangulation, and the body was burned and buried to conceal evidence. The police have registered a case under murder charges and have taken both the victim's wife and her lover into custody. Currently, they are working to gather the weapons used in the crime and other evidence.
