Tragic Incident in Bundeli Village
New Delhi. A horrifying incident occurred on Wednesday in the Bundeli village of the Rajgamar police station area in Chhattisgarh. Salik Ram Yadav, a local resident, allegedly murdered his wife, Chek Bai, during a domestic dispute, decapitating her with a sharp weapon.
Following the crime, the accused was seen wandering around the village with the severed head, causing panic among the residents. The incident took place in broad daylight, instilling fear in the community. After the murder, the suspect was spotted carrying the head and even paused near a poultry farm where he worked for a brief period.
During this time, villagers remained terrified and stayed indoors while notifying the police. Officers from the Rajgamar police station arrived at the scene and apprehended the suspect. Initial investigations revealed that the altercation between the couple occurred between 1:30 PM and 2 PM in their courtyard, with their four children present in the house at the time of the incident.
The police have sent the body for post-mortem and have registered a case, with investigations into all aspects of the situation ongoing. The village remains in a state of fear, and police teams are stationed at the location to monitor the situation.
