The incident took place in the village of Nagla Himachal, where 30-year-old truck driver Rishi Kumar was shot dead on the night of June 17. His body was discovered the following morning near his uncle's house. The bullet was fired near his ear, and his body was wrapped in a cloth. Initially, his wife Lalita claimed that a local man had threatened Rishi over a mobile phone theft suspicion, leading to his murder.
