On April 29, Snehit and Aruna were riding a motorcycle when an argument broke out between them. In a fit of rage, Snehit struck Aruna on the head with a helmet, causing her to fall off the bike and sustain critical injuries. She was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately did not survive.

Following the incident, Snehit tried to mislead family members and neighbors, claiming that Aruna had a sudden seizure which caused her to fall and die. Initially, some believed his story, but police investigations soon revealed the truth.
