The incident unfolded after ongoing tensions related to Sanjay's first marriage. Following the murder, Sanjay attempted to conceal the crime, but his son Sahil bravely reported the incident to the police. Authorities have since arrested Sanjay and are conducting further investigations. Murder Shakes Morbi District


In a shocking incident from the Tankara area of Morbi district, Gujarat, a man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his second wife following a domestic dispute. The body was reportedly disposed of in nearby bushes, causing a stir in the community.

Details reveal that the incident occurred near the village of Lajai. The suspect, identified as Sanjay, had married a woman named Shakuben as his second wife. It has been reported that Sanjay's first wife, Ganga, left him along with their children due to his second marriage, leading to ongoing family tensions. Frequent arguments between Sanjay and Shakuben were common due to this situation.

On the night of the incident, a heated argument erupted between the couple regarding the first wife. Sanjay accused Shakuben, stating, 'You are the reason my first wife left me and my children.' The argument escalated, and in a fit of rage, Sanjay struck Shakuben on the head with a heavy object, resulting in her immediate death. Following the murder, he devised a plan to conceal the body.

According to police reports, the next day, Sanjay informed his son Sahil about the incident and insisted he accompany him, threatening to kill him if he refused. Despite his fear, Sahil chose not to go with his father but kept a watchful eye from a distance.

Sahil later witnessed his father transporting the body in a rickshaw to a location near the Bhimanath temple in Lajai village, where he discarded it in a thicket of acacia bushes. Summoning his courage, Sahil reported the entire incident to the police, prompting them to take action.

Law enforcement arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and sent it for autopsy. Based on Sahil's testimony, a murder case was filed, leading to Sanjay's arrest. The police are currently investigating the matter further and pursuing legal proceedings.
