Incident Overview

Agra. A shocking incident has emerged from Agra district in Uttar Pradesh, where a woman allegedly murdered her relative. After committing the crime, she exited the hotel room screaming and informed the staff. The police have since apprehended the accused.

The woman, accused of killing her lover in a hotel room located in the Itoura area of the Malpura police station, was presented before the court, which subsequently ordered her to jail. Meanwhile, the victim's family suspects that others may have been involved in the murder. The deceased was cremated on Saturday following a post-mortem examination.

The murder occurred on Friday, involving a 35-year-old man named Khillo from Shivpuri, Fatehpur Sikri. Allegations state that the woman, who accompanied him, used a surgical blade to cut his throat and struck him multiple times with a hammer. She reportedly went to the hotel reception to disclose the murder.

During police interrogation, the woman claimed that Khillo was her relative and had been blackmailing her for a long time, putting their family on the brink of collapse. After consuming drugs together in the hotel, she decided to kill him.

Background of the Victim

Khillo's brother, Ajay, revealed that Khillo had lived with the woman’s family for several years, and they were aware of their relationship. Khillo worked in tiles and earned well, often spending his earnings on her. Recently, he had been saving money for his wedding. The room where the murder took place was not booked in Khillo's name but rather under a family member of the woman. Additionally, a significant amount of beer cans was found in the room, raising suspicions of further involvement.

Lack of Remorse from the Accused

After the murder, the accused woman showed no signs of remorse, repeatedly stating that if she hadn't killed him, he would have succeeded in his inappropriate actions against her. She claimed that he had previously attempted to assault her in a hotel two months prior and had been blackmailing her with threats to show her husband compromising photos and videos.

According to ACP Dr. Sukanya Sharma, the woman was initially reluctant to provide information during questioning. The police suspected that the murder was committed with a hammer, but they also noticed a cut on the victim's neck. Upon further interrogation, the woman revealed that her relative had been persistently harassing her, demanding that she comply with his wishes. Feeling overwhelmed, she had come prepared with a surgical blade and hammer hidden in her bag.
