The saga began in Baghpat, where Vikrant Singh, a city mission manager in the Duda department, was reported missing under suspicious circumstances. Investigations revealed that his female friend, Rakhi Kashyap, along with her accomplices, shot him. To cover their tracks, they disposed of Vikrant's body in a canal in Saharanpur.
