Following the incident, the husband filed a complaint at the police station, prompting authorities to register an FIR and initiate a search for the fleeing couple.

The incident occurred in a village under the Bochaha police jurisdiction. Nawal Kishore and Khushboo Devi, a couple living there, seemed to be leading a happy life until the nephew, Neeraj, entered the picture. Khushboo developed feelings for Neeraj during his frequent visits to their home. In a fit of passion, she physically assaulted her husband and ran away with her nephew.

Background of the Couple

Khushboo married Nawal Kishore 20 years ago, and Neeraj is ten years younger than her. The distressed husband has approached the police, seeking an investigation and action regarding the matter, as well as the recovery of his wife. He reported that Neeraj often visited their home, leading to an affair with his wife, which he opposed. Despite his attempts to intervene, both Neeraj and Khushboo became aggressive, even physically assaulting him. Their 13-year-old son also opposed the relationship, but to no avail.

Threats Before Leaving

The husband revealed that Khushboo planned to flee with 50,000 rupees in cash, valuable jewelry, and land documents. Upon discovering this, he attempted to stop them, but was beaten by both Neeraj and Khushboo, resulting in injuries. Before leaving, Khushboo threatened that if he disclosed their affair, she would take her own life.
