Recently, this shocking case came to light. A woman, despite being married, was found engaging in an affair with her husband's younger brother. The husband became aware of the situation and reported it to the police. Upon hearing his story, the police were equally astonished and summoned both the brother-in-law and sister-in-law to the station. When they arrived, the allegations made by the husband were confirmed.


This incident is linked to a village in the Shyamdeourwan police jurisdiction of Maharajganj. The sister-in-law and brother-in-law fell for each other, and their relationship quickly intensified. The sister-in-law became so infatuated that she distanced herself from her husband, deciding to live with her brother-in-law instead.

The woman, originally from Maharajganj, had married a man from a nearby village. Shortly after the wedding, she developed feelings for her brother-in-law, who also found himself drawn to her. Their affair blossomed, leading to conflicts between the husband and wife. After a heated argument, the woman returned to her parental home. As rumors spread, she made it clear that she wished to be with her brother-in-law, ignoring all pleas for reconciliation.


She firmly told her family that she did not want to stay with her husband and insisted on living with her brother-in-law. Eventually, she moved in with him. Prior to this, she had accused her husband of domestic violence, prompting the police to summon him. The police also called the brother-in-law and sister-in-law to the station. Despite attempts by the police to reason with her, she remained resolute in her decision to be with her brother-in-law.
