Recently, this startling case came to light. A woman, despite being married, was found enjoying an affair with her husband's younger brother. Her husband became aware of the situation and reported it to the police. Upon hearing his account, the police were equally shocked and summoned both the brother-in-law and sister-in-law to the station. When they arrived, the husband's claims were confirmed.

According to reports, this incident is linked to a village in the Shyamdeorwan police jurisdiction of Maharajganj. The brother-in-law and sister-in-law fell deeply in love, leading the sister-in-law to distance herself from her husband and express her desire to live with her brother-in-law. The brother-in-law reciprocated these feelings.

The woman, originally from Maharajganj, had married a man from a nearby village. Shortly after the wedding, she developed feelings for her brother-in-law, who also found himself drawn to her. Their affair blossomed, leading to conflicts between the husband and wife. After a heated argument, the woman returned to her parental home. As rumors spread, she made it clear that she wished to be with her brother-in-law, ignoring all attempts to dissuade her.

She firmly told her family that she did not want to remain with her husband and insisted on living with her brother-in-law. Eventually, she moved in with him. Prior to this, she had accused her husband of domestic violence, prompting the police to call him in for questioning. The police also attempted to reason with the woman, but their efforts were in vain. Ultimately, she remained steadfast in her decision to be with her brother-in-law.
