Kidnapping Incident at Saharanpur Junction

A disturbing incident has emerged from Saharanpur Junction railway station. A couple boarded the Howrah-Amritsar Mail train with their two-year-old daughter around midnight. Shortly after settling in, the family fell asleep. However, chaos erupted at approximately 12:30 AM when the couple awoke to find their daughter missing. They alerted the Government Railway Police (GRP), explaining that someone had abducted their child from the sleeper coach while they were asleep.

The train involved is the Howrah Mail (Train No. 13005). The couple, who boarded from Dhampur, were en route to Punjab when their daughter was taken. Upon waking at Jagadhri station, they discovered their child was no longer with them and immediately reported the incident to the local railway police. Investigations revealed that two women in burqas had taken their daughter at Saharanpur station, a fact confirmed by CCTV footage.

The mother, identified as Neha, shared that they mistakenly entered a reserved coach and fell asleep with their daughter. Around 12:30 AM, she noticed her daughter, Naira, was still beside her, but when she woke up before Ambala, the child was gone. Despite searching the train, they could not find her.

Neha recounted that they encountered two police officers and provided them with all the details. A passenger seated near them mentioned seeing a woman who had touched the child's head before taking her off the train at Saharanpur. The police were notified, and upon reviewing the CCTV footage at the station, they confirmed that two women in burqas had indeed taken Naira.
