The accused girl initially befriended the young man from Dehradun through social media, along with four of her friends. They exchanged phone numbers, leading to a romantic relationship. The young man became so infatuated that he traveled to Panipat at her request, believing she wanted to spend time with him at a hotel.

Ransom Demand of 2 Million

Upon arriving at the Moon Hotel in Panipat, the young man booked a room and awaited his girlfriend's arrival. However, as they were about to enter the room, four men suddenly appeared and forcibly placed them in a car. They released the girl but kept the young man captive, demanding a ransom of 2 million rupees from his family. The Panipat police acted swiftly, resolving the kidnapping case within just 30 hours and successfully apprehending the four main suspects.

Authorities revealed that the mastermind behind the entire scheme is the young man's girlfriend, who remains at large. DSP Satish Vats stated that the police sprang into action immediately upon receiving news of the incident, leading to a shocking revelation that the girl had plotted the entire scheme with her friends.
