The police promptly took both individuals to the station and filed charges against them, seizing their vehicle in the process. The couple's families were called, and they were released on bail.

The incident was reported by Sub-Inspector Pankaj Singh at the Khorabar police station. According to the report, the red car was parked near Sahara Club. Acting on local residents' complaints, the police arrived and witnessed the couple's indecent conduct. The young man, identified as Amit from Chauri Chaura, and the young woman from Chiluatal, were both apprehended, with a female officer present at the scene.
