Bizarre Crime Unfolds in Hapur

In a shocking turn of events in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, a young man named Aman, along with his accomplices, was apprehended for stealing a human skull from a funeral pyre. This bizarre incident occurred in the area under the jurisdiction of the Dehat police station. The police acted swiftly after reviewing CCTV footage, leading to the arrest of the suspects.

The Motive Behind the Theft

During the investigation, it was revealed that Aman was infatuated with a girl and sought the help of a local sorcerer, Avadhesh Sharma, to win her over. The sorcerer advised him to retrieve a skull from a cremation site, which prompted Aman to orchestrate the theft.

The police reported that a 16-year-old student named Shubanshu had recently passed away after a prolonged illness, and his funeral took place at a cremation ground in Lodhpura village.

Discovery of the Crime

After the cremation, the family noticed that a part of the skull was missing when they returned to the pyre. CCTV footage captured three individuals leaving the scene on a moped. Authorities confirmed that the body had been completely cremated, and the suspects only took the bones and ashes.

Investigation Continues

Police Station Chief Neeraj Kumar stated that Aman was arrested based on the footage. During questioning, he admitted to his unrequited love and his intention to use black magic to influence the girl and her family. Aman mentioned that the sorcerer promised to resolve his domestic issues and reunite him with his love, which led him to seek out the sorcerer.

Authorities are also interrogating Avadhesh Sharma, from whom several photographs of individuals were recovered. The investigation is ongoing.
