Shocking Incident in Faridabad: Teacher Sets Fire to Sisters-in-Law
Disturbing Event in Dubua Colony
Faridabad News: A horrifying incident has emerged from Dubua Colony in Faridabad, Haryana, where a teacher from a private school allegedly doused her two sisters-in-law with petrol and set them ablaze. The two sisters suffered severe burns and have been admitted to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi for treatment. Authorities have apprehended the accused woman.
According to police investigations, the incident occurred on April 3. Residents Seema and Meena were at home when their sister-in-law, Pinky, arrived. The two sisters welcomed Pinky and offered her tea. However, Pinky had a sinister plan in mind, having secretly stashed a bag in the bathroom.
Around 5 PM, while Seema and Meena were on the roof, Pinky emerged from the bathroom with a bucket filled with petrol. Before the sisters could react, Pinky poured the petrol over them and ignited it with a match. Neighbors rushed to the scene upon hearing their screams and alerted the police.
‘I Did It for Revenge’
The police presented Pinky in court on Saturday, where she was remanded for one day. During questioning, she confessed to her crime, stating that her sisters-in-law frequently questioned her character and harbored suspicions about her. This humiliation drove her to commit the horrific act.
Accused Woman is Highly Educated
Investigating officer Sub-Inspector Rajendra Kumar revealed that Pinky is well-educated, holding a B.Sc. and B.Ed. degree, and works as a teacher at a private school. The police have filed serious charges against her, including attempted murder, and are currently investigating the source of the petrol and whether anyone else was involved in the conspiracy.
