During the investigation, police reviewed nearby CCTV footage, which showed the child leaving with an older boy. When the footage was shown to the mother, she quickly identified the boy as a 15-year-old neighbor living in their building. The police acted swiftly and apprehended the teenager from his home.

Motivation Behind the Crime

The police inquiry revealed a shocking motive. The 15-year-old had dropped out of school after completing the 10th grade. Recently, he had taken his landlord's motorcycle without permission and left it elsewhere.
