In a harrowing incident in the Anand Parvat area of Delhi, a 15-year-old boy allegedly abducted a 4-year-old child, pushed him into a 30-foot deep gorge, and assaulted him with stones. The child is currently in critical condition and receiving treatment in the ICU, while the accused has been apprehended by the police.

How the Incident Unfolded

According to reports, on the evening of September 17, the police were alerted about a missing child. The child's mother filed a complaint, stating that her son had gone missing while playing near their home after returning from tuition around 6:30 PM. Despite extensive searching, he could not be found, prompting the police to register a kidnapping case under Section 137(2) of the Indian Penal Code.

CCTV Footage Reveals the Truth

During the investigation, police reviewed nearby CCTV footage, which showed the child leaving with an older boy. When the footage was shown to the mother, she immediately recognized the boy as her 15-year-old neighbor. The police swiftly acted and arrested the teenager from his residence.

Motivation Behind the Crime

During interrogation, shocking details emerged. The 15-year-old had dropped out of school after completing the 10th grade. Recently, he had taken his landlord's motorcycle without permission and left it elsewhere, which led the child's mother to complain to the landlord. This incident resulted in the teenager being reprimanded by his father, which fueled his desire for revenge against the child's mother.

Execution of the Disturbing Act

On September 17, while the young boy was playing near his home, the accused lured him into the nearby Ramjas Park area. There, he pushed the child down the 30-foot gorge and subsequently attacked him with stones before returning home.

Child's Critical Condition

Following the interrogation, the police located the injured child and rushed him to the hospital. He is currently in the ICU, with doctors closely monitoring his condition. The police have charged the accused teenager with kidnapping and attempted murder under Section 109(1) of the Indian Penal Code.
