Shocking Incident in Bijnor: Mother Kills Son After Years of Abuse
Tragic Event in Shyamiwala Village
In a disturbing incident that occurred on the night of August 7 in Shyamiwala village, Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, a 56-year-old mother took a drastic step against her 32-year-old son, Ashok, who was an alcoholic and unmarried. This shocking event has left the community in disbelief.
On that fateful night, Ashok was fast asleep in his home. His mother, who had silently endured her son's abusive behavior for years, faced a moment of reckoning. Ashok, in a drunken state, attempted to assault her once again. This time, the mother could no longer contain her anger. Grabbing a sickle nearby, she launched a fatal attack on her son, resulting in his immediate death.
Repeated Abuse
After the attack, the mother tried to mislead the villagers by claiming that robbers had invaded their home. However, the police grew suspicious of her story. Upon rigorous questioning by the local police, she confessed the truth: Ashok had sexually assaulted her multiple times while under the influence of alcohol. Fearing social stigma, she had remained silent until that night when her patience finally snapped, leading her to take her son's life.
Investigation Underway
Authorities recovered blood-stained clothing and the sickle used in the murder based on the mother's directions. Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Vajpayee confirmed that a case has been registered against her under the Indian Penal Code, and she has been taken into custody.
