A shocking event has emerged from Bihar, where a woman, enraged by her lover's infidelity and subsequent marriage to another woman, launched a violent attack on the newlywed. The incident occurred late Tuesday night, triggered by the news of her lover, Gopal Ram, marrying someone else, which left her furious.

After the wedding ceremony, Gopal Ram returned to his village, Mora Talab, with his wife and relatives. The jilted lover, who is also a friend of Gopal's sister, managed to enter their home under the pretense of visiting. Once most family members had fallen asleep from exhaustion, she entered the bedroom and cut the bride's hair before pouring Fevikwik into her eyes.

The victim screamed in pain, waking other family members. In a panic, the attacker attempted to flee but was apprehended by the family. They held her captive and assaulted her throughout the night. When the police arrived at the scene, they took the assailant into custody.

An official reported that the victim is currently hospitalized with severe injuries and may risk losing her eyesight. Her condition is stable at the moment.
