In the western Karbi Anglong district, a young woman named Pooja Malang is accused of murdering her 42-year-old mother, Anumai Malang, by cutting her throat. Following the gruesome act, she allegedly hid with her mother's head throughout the night. This shocking crime took place in the village of Deramukh Lalong, leaving the community in disbelief. Upon receiving reports, law enforcement quickly arrived at the scene and apprehended the suspect.


Attack on Family Members

The accused, identified as Pooja Malang, attacked her mother around 10 PM on Wednesday. During the incident, she also assaulted her father, Premendra Malang, and her sister, both of whom sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment at a government hospital.
