Tragic Incident in Madangir

Delhi, a horrifying event unfolded in the Madangir area that would send chills down anyone's spine. The story revolves around Dinesh Kumar, a 28-year-old man who was sleeping with his four-year-old daughter at night. Employed at a pharmaceutical company, Dinesh seemed to have a stable life, but beneath the surface, tensions were brewing due to ongoing conflicts with his wife, Sadhana. Both hail from Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, and have been married for eight years, but their marital life has been far from harmonious. Frequent arguments and domestic disputes had become commonplace. They had been residing in a rented accommodation in Madangir for several years. However, the night of October 2 changed everything.

At approximately 3:15 AM, while Dinesh and his daughter were deep in sleep, he suddenly felt a severe burning sensation on his body. Upon opening his eyes, he was horrified to see his wife, Sadhana, pouring boiling oil over him! His face and torso were engulfed in flames. Dinesh writhed in agony, but Sadhana did not stop there. She immediately took chili powder and sprinkled it on his wounds, intensifying his pain. With a threatening tone, she warned, 'If you scream, I will pour more hot oil on you!' Though Dinesh's mouth was shut in pain, his screams were unavoidable, loud enough to reach the landlord.

Locked Inside the Room
The landlord rushed upstairs upon hearing the commotion. The door to the room was locked from the inside. He knocked loudly, and Sadhana's voice could be heard, but the door remained shut. The landlord then called Dinesh's brother-in-law, Ram Sagar. Meanwhile, the landlord's daughter, Anjali, also woke up and informed, 'Dad, when you went upstairs, the door was locked. Sadhana had locked it from inside.' Eventually, the door was opened, revealing a shocking scene. Dinesh was rolling on the floor, screaming in pain, while Sadhana was hiding somewhere. When the landlord attempted to intervene, Sadhana claimed, 'I am taking my husband to the hospital.' Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Suspicion Arises
However, the story did not end there. As Sadhana carried Dinesh outside, the landlord arranged for an auto-rickshaw. But as soon as the auto started, Anjali grew suspicious. Sadhana was heading in the opposite direction of the hospital! The landlord quickly intervened, separating Sadhana and placing Dinesh alone in the auto to send him to Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital. Upon arrival, doctors assessed his condition as critical. Dinesh had severe burn marks on his body, his face was swollen, and he was in unbearable pain.

Investigation Underway
By morning, Dinesh filed a complaint with the police. Deputy Commissioner Ankit Chauhan stated, 'This attack appears to be the result of ongoing marital disputes. The couple has been embroiled in conflicts for a long time.' A case has been registered, and Sadhana is currently on the run, with efforts to locate her ongoing. The investigation into the matter is still active.
