Shocking Domestic Murders: A Tale of Betrayal and Tragedy
Murder in Matieria Bengali Colony
In a shocking incident in Matieria Bengali Colony, Lauria, a woman allegedly conspired with her lover to murder her husband late Saturday night. Reports indicate that she administered a narcotic pill to her husband, Amit Kumar Namodas, 35, before strangling him to death once he was incapacitated. Following the act, she sent her lover away from the scene.
To mislead authorities, she fabricated a story about the events. The police have arrested the accused, Neelam Devi, and the investigation is ongoing, as confirmed by Station House Officer Ramesh Kumar Sharma. A forensic team spent approximately an hour examining the crime scene.
After intense questioning, Neelam admitted to collaborating with her lover in the murder of her husband. The couple had been married for nine years. Amit was visually impaired from birth, and Neelam had been under stress due to their mismatched marriage, which often led to disputes. At the time of the incident, the family was away attending a religious ceremony.
Only Neelam, Amit, and their young daughter were present at home when she took advantage of the situation to invite her lover over and commit the crime.
Tragic Love Story Ends in Murder
In another disturbing case from the Biroul police jurisdiction, a young man allegedly killed his wife just six months after their love marriage. Family members have accused him of committing the act over dowry disputes. The victim, 21-year-old Roshni Kumari, was found dead inside their home on Sunday morning, with only her mother-in-law present at the time.
Roshan Kumar Mandal, the husband, along with his relatives, has reportedly fled the scene. Roshan had met Roshni at a relative's house in the Ghanashyampur area, and the couple eloped to marry six months ago. On Sunday, Roshni's parents received the tragic news of their daughter's murder.
