Gruesome Find in Tumakuru District

Crime News: A shocking incident has emerged from Kolala village in Tumakuru district, Karnataka, where the dismembered body of a woman was discovered, causing widespread alarm. Authorities reported that the body parts were found stuffed in several plastic bags and discarded by the roadside. Upon receiving the information, local police promptly arrived at the scene. The officers were taken aback when they opened the bags, leading to an immediate investigation.

On August 7, passersby spotted body parts in seven plastic bags along the road and alerted the police. Following this, the Koratagere police initiated a search operation and recovered seven additional bags on August 8, which contained the remaining body parts and the woman's head. An official from the investigation team indicated that the woman's identity has been tentatively established based on the head, but formal confirmation is still pending.

Special Investigation Team Formed

The Superintendent of Police for Tumakuru, Ashok KV, announced the formation of a special team on Friday to conduct searches in Kolala village and its surrounding areas. According to officials, it is suspected that the perpetrators may have transported the dismembered body by car and discarded the bags in various locations along the road connecting Chimpuganahalli and Venkapura villages.

Police Suspicions

Authorities believe that the murder likely occurred elsewhere, with the body subsequently dismembered and disposed of in this area. Heavy rainfall on Saturday hampered efforts to locate the remaining body parts. The investigation is ongoing, with police working to identify the assailants. The motive behind the murder remains unclear, and the identities of those responsible for this horrific crime have yet to be determined.
