As time passed, Shomita began taking Mihir to five-star hotels, where she could easily book rooms for unmarried couples without fear of being caught. There, she would first intoxicate him with alcohol before exploiting him. Mihir felt trapped and wanted to escape this abusive relationship, but Shomita began administering anti-anxiety pills to him.

As the 12th-grade exams approached, Mihir hoped that graduating would free him from Shomita's grasp.
