Disturbing Incident in Muzaffarnagar


In a troubling incident from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law have found themselves in legal trouble due to an illicit affair. Their relationship escalated to the point where the sister-in-law became pregnant. To conceal their actions, the brother-in-law arranged for an abortion, leading to a series of events that ultimately resulted in their arrest.


After the abortion, the couple disposed of the fetus in a garbage heap within the city. This shocking act came to light when local authorities were informed about the discarded fetus. The police reviewed over 100 CCTV cameras in the area, which captured the couple's actions, leading to their apprehension.


Upon learning of the situation, the sister-in-law's sibling expressed disbelief, stating she had no idea about the affair until the police revealed the details. She felt betrayed by both her husband and sister.


During a press conference, SSP Sanjay Kumar Verma disclosed that the fetus was discovered on June 24 near the Rudki Chowki. Initially, a report was filed against unknown individuals as the police sought to uncover the truth. Inspector Umesh Roriya and his team meticulously examined the CCTV footage around the crime scene.


Legal Consequences for the Couple

The police have arrested Abhishek and his sister-in-law Priya, both residents of North Rampuri. Investigations revealed that the two had engaged in an illicit relationship, which led to Priya's pregnancy. To avoid detection, they decided to terminate the pregnancy and dispose of the fetus in a garbage dump. Reports indicate that the fetus was approximately six months old at the time of disposal.


The police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing, and strict actions will be taken against the accused. Both individuals are currently in custody as the case unfolds.
