The 35-year-old woman married four different men in the years 2003, 2013, 2016, and 2021. Additionally, she has a 27-year-old boyfriend named Mayur Raju Motghare.

Bhavika ensnared these men into marriage and then falsely accused them of various crimes such as rape, domestic violence, and dowry harassment to extort large sums of money. The woman's arrest followed a complaint from her fourth husband, Mahendra Vanwani, who married her on September 16, 2021.
