Shocking Betrayal: Teenager's Trust Exploited in Bijnor Incident
Incident Overview
Bijnor News: A disturbing incident from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, has unveiled a horrifying betrayal in the name of love and trust. A 17-year-old girl, who was ready to abandon her family for what she believed was love, found her life shattered by the very person she trusted. This incident took place in the Noorpur police jurisdiction. According to the complaint filed with the police, a young man named Titu Pal had been in contact with the girl for the past four to five months, ensnaring her in a web of deceit.
The Deceptive Plan
Under a sinister plan, Titu provided the girl with two packets of sleeping pills. On the night of April 8, she mixed these pills into the tea of her family members. Once her family fell into a deep slumber, Titu arrived at her home. Following his instructions, the girl gathered gold and silver jewelry along with ₹20,000 in cash from her family's cupboard and eloped with him at around 10 PM.
The Horrific Assault
Titu took the girl to a banquet hall room belonging to an acquaintance. There, he summoned three friends—Ritesh, Vishesh, and Mohan. Allegations state that they consumed alcohol and then collectively assaulted the minor throughout the night. After the incident, the accused dropped the girl off near her home at 5 AM. She quietly returned home and went to sleep. When her family awoke, they were unaware of the horrific events that had transpired overnight.
Discovery of the Theft
On April 10, when the girl's mother was preparing to attend a relative's wedding, she opened the cupboard to retrieve jewelry, only to find it missing. This discovery caused chaos in the household. The family immediately reported the theft to the police by dialing 112. Upon arrival and beginning their investigation, the frightened minor eventually revealed the entire truth to her family.
Arrest of the Main Accused
SP Dehat Prakash Kumar confirmed that the main accused, Titu Pal, is a notorious criminal with a history of offenses. He has seven prior cases registered against him in Moradabad, Gajraula, and Amroha, including three under the POCSO Act, two for vehicle theft, and two for burglary.
Police Action
The police acted swiftly, arresting Titu Pal, Vishesh, and a minor accused (Mohan), who have since been sent to jail. Ritesh remains at large, and police teams are actively conducting raids to apprehend him.
