A husband, who went to reconcile with his wife after a quarrel, was left in disbelief when he found her in bed with another man at midnight. According to reports, the incident occurred on the night of June 30, 2025, in a middle-class neighborhood of Jaipur. A heated argument erupted between the husband and wife, leading the wife to angrily decide to sleep in another room. Initially, the husband perceived this as a typical marital disagreement and later went to her room to make amends. However, upon opening the door, he was shocked to find his wife in a compromising position with her lover.

The Husband's Account

Bhagwarlal, the husband, recounted that the incident took place around 12:30 AM. He was asleep in his room when he was awakened by some noise. To his horror, he discovered his wife, Suman, in a compromising situation with her lover, Laduram. When Bhagwarlal confronted them, Suman allegedly attempted to strangle him. During the commotion, Laduram managed to escape. Other family members arrived after hearing Bhagwarlal's cries for help and intervened. Bhagwarlal mentioned that prior to this incident, Suman had quarreled with him and decided to sleep separately.

Discovery of Suspicious Items

Following the incident, Bhagwarlal and his family searched the room, uncovering a white suspicious powder, some narcotic pills, and a syringe from the wardrobe. Bhagwarlal claimed that these items were intended to poison him gradually. He informed the police that he had been feeling unwell for some time and suspected Suman of tampering with his food and drinks. This suspicion was reinforced by the discovery of the suspicious items. The police have seized these materials for forensic analysis, and Bhagwarlal is undergoing a medical examination to determine if he had been poisoned.

Previous Incidents

The police investigation revealed that Suman had previously eloped with her alleged lover, Laduram, in March 2024. Bhagwarlal had filed a complaint at the Renwal police station regarding this incident. Although Suman returned home a few days later with her family, Bhagwarlal remained suspicious of her activities. He believes that Suman's illicit relationship with Laduram had been ongoing for a long time, and this recent incident confirmed his fears.
