A disturbing incident of attempted sexual assault has emerged from Jharkhand, where a young man allegedly tried to assault a woman traveling on a train while under the influence of alcohol. Reports indicate that the victim, a woman with disabilities, was on her way to Uttar Pradesh from Odisha. In the early hours, between 2 and 3 AM, she left her seat to use the restroom.

During this time, a pantry car staff member entered the restroom and attempted to assault her. Upon receiving the complaint, railway police apprehended the suspect as soon as the train reached the station.

Brave Intervention

According to the victim, the assailant also engaged in unnatural sexual acts during the incident. Fortunately, two fellow passengers, hearing the commotion from the restroom, intervened and managed to rescue her from the attacker.
