On Tuesday, the girl invited him to her village to meet her family. However, upon his arrival, he was reportedly held against his will and subjected to violence by her relatives. A video of the man recounting his harrowing experience has been circulating on social media.

In the video, the man, identified as Atul Kashyap, describes being stripped, restrained, and beaten with sticks. He alleges that he was forced to consume urine and had boiling water poured over him. Atul also claims he was struck with a hammer on his genitals.
