Shatrughan Sinha Praises Lalu Prasad During Patna Visit

In a recent visit to Patna, actor and TMC MP Shatrughan Sinha met with RJD leader Lalu Prasad, praising him as a great leader and friend. Sinha shared insights from their discussions and expressed regret over not meeting Lalu's sons due to their absence. He also criticized the government's handling of student protests related to the NEET paper leak while commending Rahul Gandhi's support for the students. This visit highlights Sinha's longstanding friendship with Lalu Prasad and his evolving political journey.
 

Meeting with Lalu Prasad

On August 8, in Patna, actor and Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Shatrughan Sinha visited the residence of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad, where he expressed high regard for him, calling him a people's leader and a genuinely good person. Sinha mentioned that he had an extensive conversation with Prasad and his wife, Rabri Devi. He told reporters, 'I came here solely to meet Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi.'


A Long-Standing Friendship

'Lalu Ji is an old family friend of mine; he is a prominent politician and a true leader. Above all, he is a wonderful human being. Whenever I visit Patna, I make it a point to meet him,' Sinha remarked.


Family Absence

The TMC MP noted that he could not meet Lalu Prasad's sons, Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav, as they were out of town for important commitments. However, he emphasized that he had meaningful discussions with Lalu Ji and Rabri Ji.


Political Journey

Sinha began his political career with the BJP before briefly joining Congress and later moving to TMC. He recently criticized the central government's handling of student protests regarding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) paper leak and praised Rahul Gandhi for supporting the students.
