Shahjahanpur Administration Seals Nine Illegal Diesel Pumps

In a significant move, the Shahjahanpur district administration has sealed nine diesel pumps that were found operating without the necessary licenses. Following numerous complaints about the sale of low-quality diesel, the district magistrate initiated inspections that revealed the pump owners could not provide any valid documentation. This action underscores the administration's commitment to ensuring compliance and quality in fuel sales, with further investigations underway to address the issue comprehensively.
 

Action Against Unlicensed Diesel Pumps

The district administration of Shahjahanpur has taken decisive action by sealing nine diesel pumps that were operating without valid licenses. This information was confirmed by a senior official on Wednesday.


District Magistrate Dharmendra Pratap Singh informed that his office received multiple complaints regarding the sale of substandard diesel. In response, he formed nine teams led by the Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Arvind Kumar, to investigate the matter.


Singh stated that inspections were conducted simultaneously at all the pumps. During the inspection, the pump owners failed to present any valid licenses or documentation, leading to the immediate sealing of the pumps. He also mentioned that further investigations are ongoing.
