In Vasai, Maharashtra, the heavy rains have resulted in water levels rising above knee height on the streets. In some areas, the conditions have deteriorated to the point where roads appear completely submerged, resembling rivers. Local reports indicate that at least 20 cars have been submerged, along with numerous two-wheelers caught in the flooding.

Residents faced immense challenges reaching their homes and workplaces. Traffic systems collapsed, leading to long queues of vehicles in several locations.

Junagadh Colony Transformed into a Lake, Residents Use Boats

In Junagadh, Gujarat, the heavy rainfall has created a serious situation. Many residential colonies have become so inundated that residents are now resorting to using boats to access their homes. Locals report that such conditions have not been witnessed in several years.
