In Greater Noida, heavy rain caused a traffic jam on NH-34 near Chhapraula, with waterlogging reported in several areas.

According to the IMD, the monsoon is currently active throughout India, with forecasts indicating light to moderate rain along with thunderstorms and lightning in the Delhi-NCR region today.

The IMD stated, 'Light to moderate rainfall, along with light thunderstorms and lightning, is highly likely in areas of Delhi (Tughlakabad, IGNOU, Deramandi), NCR (Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida), Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal, and Panipat.'
