Sriganganagar has been recorded as the hottest location in the state recently, reaching a maximum temperature of 46.5 degrees Celsius. Following closely, Pilani in Jhunjhunu recorded 45.3 degrees Celsius.

Other notable temperatures include Phalodi and Bikaner at 44.8 degrees Celsius, Churu at 44.5 degrees Celsius, and both Kota and Alwar at 44.2 degrees Celsius, with Chittorgarh hitting 44 degrees Celsius.

Heatwave conditions have gripped most cities within the divisions of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Bharatpur, and Kota.

A yellow alert has been issued for heatwave conditions across more than half of Rajasthan for the upcoming three to four days, with minimal relief anticipated from the extreme heat.

In response to the rising temperatures, various preventive measures are being implemented in several cities. For instance, water is being regularly sprinkled near Zorawar Singh Gate on Amer Road in Jaipur to help lower surface temperatures.

In Kota, water is being sprayed at cattle shelters both morning and evening to shield animals from the severe heat.

Additionally, Sirohi recorded a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius, while Pratapgarh reached 39.6 degrees Celsius, making them among the few districts to stay below the 40-degree threshold on Tuesday.

Sirohi also noted a minimum temperature of 21.8 degrees Celsius, the lowest recorded in the state in the last 24 hours.

While Jaipur saw a slight decrease in temperature on Wednesday, residents still endured intense heat throughout the day, with maximum temperatures reaching 42.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 31.1 degrees Celsius.

Alwar has been experiencing temperatures near 45 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days. The Municipal Corporation has been actively sprinkling water on roads and setting up tents in various locations to provide shade for pedestrians and commuters.

Ajmer has also faced extreme heat and humidity since morning, recording a maximum temperature of 40.9 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 28.6 degrees Celsius.

Traffic has been notably light during the afternoon as residents seek to avoid the harsh conditions.

The Shekhawati region, including Sikar district, has been under continuous heatwave conditions for the past six days, with Sikar recording a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 24.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

Hot winds and rising temperatures have severely disrupted daily life across most parts of the state, leading to deserted roads during peak afternoon hours.
