On Thursday, dense fog and reduced visibility led to the cancellation of 27 flights at Delhi Airport, with several others experiencing delays, as reported by an official source. According to the information available, Indigo Airlines has canceled 59 flights within its domestic network.
The source indicated that, "Due to the thick fog and low visibility, 27 flights have been canceled, including 16 departures and 11 arrivals at Delhi Airport." In an advisory issued to passengers on Thursday morning, the airport authority mentioned that flight operations are currently under CAT (Category) III conditions, which may result in delays or disruptions.
Indigo's website confirmed the cancellation of 59 flights on Thursday, with an additional 28 flights canceled for Friday. However, the airline did not provide a specific reason for these cancellations.
