Data from the Chandigarh office of the Indian Meteorological Department indicates that Gurugram is currently the coldest area in Haryana. Following Gurugram, Narnaul recorded a temperature of 1.2 degrees Celsius. In comparison to the previous days, temperatures were 1.8 degrees on Saturday and 4.1 degrees on Sunday, showing a significant drop of approximately 3.5 degrees within just 24 hours.
Cold Conditions in Delhi
The neighboring city of Delhi is also grappling with severe cold. On Monday, the temperature at Lodhi Road was recorded at 3 degrees Celsius, while it had dipped to 2.9 degrees in Ayanagar the previous day. The meteorological department has issued an 'Orange Alert' for Gurugram and surrounding areas, predicting continued severe cold and dense fog for the next two days.
