Militant Arrests in Manipur

Security forces have apprehended five militants linked to various banned organizations across three districts in Manipur, as reported by police on Sunday. Authorities revealed that two active members of the banned group, Kanglei Yawol Kanna Loop (KYKL), were captured on Saturday in the East Imphal district's Laikhong area. Additionally, a member of the Kangleipak Communist Party (Taibang Panba) was arrested on Friday in Bishnupur's Tronglaobi region.


According to police reports, on Saturday, security personnel detained an active worker of the banned Kangleipak Communist Party (APUNBA) from Kongpal in East Imphal. Furthermore, a member of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) was also arrested from the Wangjing market in Thoubal district.
