Increased Vigilance Along the India-Pakistan Border

In the districts of Poonch and Samba in Jammu and Kashmir, drones from the neighboring country were spotted hovering near the India-Pakistan border. In response, security forces activated their anti-drone systems on Thursday night to effectively counter the situation.

Sources indicate that these drones were observed near the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch and close to the Ramgarh sector in Samba district. One drone was seen near the checkpoints along the LoC in Poonch, prompting the deployment of the drone defense system by security personnel.

Similarly, another drone was detected near the international border in the Ramgarh sector. Meanwhile, the army remains on 'high alert' along the border with Pakistan. On Tuesday night, soldiers fired upon several suspicious Pakistani drones that attempted to enter Indian territory from across the LoC in Rajouri district.
