Talwar Advances to T-5 Position

Saptak Talwar has ascended to a tie for fifth place on the leaderboard during the Blot Play 9 event at Golf Bluegreen de Pleneuf Val Andre this week. With a two-day total of 5-under par (68-67), he trails the joint leaders, Pablo Ereno (68-68) and John Gough (63-69), by three strokes.


Talwar's Impressive Second Round

In his second round, Talwar achieved a score of 3-under 67, featuring five birdies and two bogeys. He started on the back nine, quickly gaining momentum with birdies on the 10th, 11th, and 13th holes. After a bogey on the 14th, he turned at 2-under par. On the front nine, he faced another bogey on the sixth hole but recovered with consecutive birdies on the eighth and ninth holes, finishing strong.


Gough and Ereno Lead the Pack

As the second day concluded, Gough and Ereno were tied for the lead, both at 8-under par, with Charles Huntzinger trailing in third at 7-under par (66-67) and Tom Gueant in fourth at 6-under par (64-70).


Gough maintained his lead with a score of 1-under 69 on the second day, recording four birdies and three bogeys. Ereno, who began the day tied for second, moved into a shared lead by scoring 2-under 68, which included two birdies, two bogeys, and an eagle.
