Sanjay Raut's Strong Remarks Against Rebel MPs

In light of increasing speculation regarding divisions within the Shiv Sena (UBT), leader Sanjay Raut launched a fierce attack on the rebel MPs. He accused them of betrayal and questioned their loyalty to the Uddhav Thackeray faction. Raut highlighted Waje's repeated expressions of loyalty to the party, stating that since he disembarked from the train, he has consistently affirmed his allegiance to Uddhav Thackeray's faction. Emphasizing that political positions are temporary, but loyalty to the organization is enduring, Raut remarked that the roles of MLAs and MPs come and go. He noted, 'Today we are lawmakers, but tomorrow we may not be here. However, we cannot forget what this group has given us. Balasaheb Thackeray nurtured us like children, and Uddhav treated us like brothers.' He then directed insults at those leaving the party, stating, 'These scoundrels... who are departing.' He also requested the media not to censor his remarks.

Continuing his address, Raut accused the rebel leaders of dishonesty, labeling them as traitors. Amidst the ongoing speculation of a split within Shiv Sena (UBT), Lok Sabha MPs Arvind Sawant and Anil Desai met with party colleague and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut at his residence in Delhi on Wednesday. The three MPs supporting Uddhav Thackeray—Arvind Sawant, Anil Desai, and Rajabhau Waje—later held a press conference alongside Raut, making serious allegations. Raut claimed, 'I received a call from a significant individual. They informed me that MPs were promised ₹50 crores, with ₹15 crores to be given as an advance. MPs are being bought in Maharashtra.'
