The league aims to be the foremost T20 competition outside of India and has solidified its status as South Africa's top sports and entertainment brand. This growth is evident both on the field and off, with players expressing their preference for the league due to the enthusiastic local fanbase, vibrant stadium atmosphere, and high-caliber cricket, reflected in a remarkable 94% player satisfaction rating.


Record Attendance and Fan Engagement

With 22 out of 34 matches sold out and an impressive 84% of stadium capacity utilized, the SA20 has reinforced its position as the premier summer event in South Africa. The final match was sold out for the fourth consecutive year, culminating in Sunrisers Eastern Cape's historic third title at a packed Newlands in Cape Town.


Exciting Cricket and Local Talent Showcase

Season 4 featured thrilling cricket moments, including the league's inaugural Super Over, several centuries, and two hat-tricks, with standings only finalized after the last group stage match. South African players excelled in the Season Awards, showcasing local talent: Quinton de Kock from Sunrisers Eastern Cape was named Betway Player of the Season and Batter of the Season, while Ottneil Baartman from Paarl Royals was recognized as Bowler of the Season. Rising star Jordan Hermann from Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Marco Jansen, also from the same team, received accolades for their performances.
