Rudrankksh Patil Shines at 24th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship
Men's 10m Air Rifle Finals
At the 24th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship held at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy in Bhopal, Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil from Maharashtra secured the gold medal in the Men's 10m Air Rifle ISSF event. He achieved a score of 252.9 in the finals, placing him at the top of the podium. Rohit Kanyan from Haryana took home the silver with a score of 251.9, while Baiduriya Biswas from West Bengal earned the bronze with 230.8. Karamjeet Singh from Uttar Pradesh finished in fourth place with a score of 209.6.
Qualification Round Highlights
In the qualification round, Paarth Makhija from Delhi led with a score of 633.4, followed closely by Shahu Tushar Mane from Railways with 630.0. Gajjar Krish Jigneshbhai from Gujarat qualified third with 627.8, while Rudrankksh Patil entered the finals in fourth with 627.7.
Junior Men's 10m Air Rifle
In the Junior Men's 10m Air Rifle event, Ashmit Chatterjee from West Bengal clinched the title with a final score of 251.0. Piyush Sharma from Uttar Pradesh secured the silver with 250.5, and Rohit Kanyan from Haryana took the bronze with 229.1. Karamjeet Singh finished fourth with 207.9.
Junior Qualification Results
During the qualification, Piyush Sharma topped the standings with an impressive score of 631.7, followed by Ashmit Chatterjee with 631.1. Rohit Kanyan finished third with 630.4, and Karamjeet Singh secured fourth with 629.9.
Youth Men's 10m Air Rifle
In the Youth Men's 10m Air Rifle category, Abhinav Shaw from West Bengal won the title with a score of 254.4. Priyanshu from Haryana earned silver with 249.7, while Jatin Lamba, also from Haryana, secured bronze with 228.1. Rohit Kanyan finished fourth with 207.1.
