RSS Chief Calls for India to Become a Global Leader for Humanity
A Vision for Global Welfare
Mohan Bhagwat, the leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), urged Hindus to work towards establishing India as a global leader for the welfare of both Hindu society and the world.
During the closing ceremony of the 'Vishwa Sangh Camp,' a conference for international Hindu organizations, he emphasized the need for Hindus and volunteers to set an example of how human intellect can be directed towards global well-being.
He stated, "Technology will advance. Social media will grow. AI will emerge. Everything will come. However, the negative impacts of technology must be avoided. Humanity should remain the master of technology, not the other way around."
Bhagwat further added, "Human intellect should progress towards global welfare through technology, not the opposite. How can this be achieved? We must live as examples. This message is for the entire Indian society."
He remarked, "People in other parts of the world have not been able to do good for the maximum number of people." He suggested that Hindu society should adopt a lifestyle from which others can learn.
Additionally, he mentioned that Hindu society must spread its ideals globally to establish dharma, but this should not be done through military or economic force, rather through high moral values.
Reiterating the need to restore India as a global leader, Bhagwat asserted that this is not just a desire of Hindu society but a necessity for the entire world. He concluded, "The world has expectations from us. We must become a global leader, but this is not an easy task. It requires hard work, which is already happening in various places, with the RSS being one of them."
