Roses Public School, Sulyali recently organized a significant awareness campaign centered around the themes of “Junk Food” and “Good Touch–Bad Touch”. This initiative aimed to foster health consciousness, safety awareness, and emotional guidance among students through engaging and interactive sessions.

The program, overseen by Vice Principal Mrs. Babita Sauguni, involved various classes and saw enthusiastic participation from teachers including Santosh, Reena, Renuka, Karish, Nancy, Manju, Sapna, Kajal, Kiran, Jyoti, and Amandeep, who were instrumental in facilitating the activities.

During the Junk Food Awareness segment, students viewed a creative video that mimicked an “ultrasound prank,” demonstrating the adverse effects of excessive junk food consumption, such as stomach issues and parasites. This captivating presentation effectively conveyed the significance of healthy eating, motivating students to commit to reducing junk food intake.

The Good Touch–Bad Touch segment involved nursery, junior KG, and senior KG students performing an action song that educated them about safe and unsafe physical interactions. Guided by their teachers, the children learned that their bodies are their own, and they should assertively say “No” to any uncomfortable touch, maintain personal space, and promptly inform a trusted adult.

The event was both informative and enjoyable, imparting essential lessons on health and safety. At the end of the program, Principal Mr. Sanjay Sharma Sauguni and Vice Principal Mrs. Babita Sauguni commended the teachers for their efforts and encouraged the continuation of such awareness initiatives for the comprehensive development of students.
