Rohit Sharma Nears 20,000-Run Milestone

Rohit Sharma, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, is on the verge of becoming the fourth Indian batsman to reach the remarkable milestone of 20,000 runs in international cricket. He is set to play against South Africa in the second ODI in Raipur on Wednesday, needing just 41 runs to achieve this feat. This elite group includes legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and Rahul Dravid, with Tendulkar leading the pack with 34,357 runs, followed by Kohli with 27,808 runs and Dravid with 24,064 runs.

Currently, Rohit has accumulated 19,959 runs across 503 international matches, boasting an average of 42.46. His impressive record includes 50 centuries and 110 half-centuries. Specifically, he has scored 4,301 runs in Test matches, 4,231 runs in T20 internationals, and 11,427 runs in ODIs.
