Delhi Crime News: The crime rate in the capital city of India is on the rise. While the Home Minister is urging the Delhi police to maintain law and order, criminals continue to challenge the police with their actions. A recent incident in Shahdara district's GTB Enclave saw a young man stabbed multiple times over a trivial matter. The police were alerted, but by the time they arrived, the assailant had already fled the scene.


Reason Behind the Attack

According to police reports, the attack occurred when a young man was brutally stabbed for refusing to pay for alcohol. The victim, identified as Ashok (35), was taken to GTB Hospital for treatment. Following the incident, the police have initiated a search for the suspect. Reports indicate that a man named Sonu Moti demanded 250 rupees from Ashok for alcohol. When Ashok declined, Sonu pulled out a knife and attacked him, inflicting multiple wounds to his face, back, and arms before fleeing. Ashok managed to return home, where his father and neighbors took him to the hospital. The police have recorded his statement and are actively pursuing the suspect.


Dispute During Holi Celebration Leaves Three Injured

In another incident, a dispute during Holi celebrations in the Kamal Vihar area of Karawal Nagar resulted in injuries to three individuals. Mayank Kansal (24), who runs his own business, was celebrating with friends when a group of boys arrived and an argument broke out over water being thrown. The situation escalated into stone-throwing, and one of the attackers brandished a knife. The group began to assault Mayank with fists and sticks, ultimately stabbing him in the hands and thighs. Friends Chandra Prakash Sharma and Vishal Kashyap were also injured in the melee.
