After leading his team to victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rishabh Pant shared his thoughts on his unbeaten half-century, emphasizing that 'all's well that ends well.' He acknowledged that both the team management and his teammates recognize the dedication he invests in his performance.

Rishabh Pant's Performance

Following a disappointing run-out in the season opener, Pant showcased his form with a solid 68 not out off 50 balls while chasing 157 runs against SRH in Hyderabad on Sunday. Although he didn't start aggressively, his ability to finish strong in the last over, needing nine runs, highlighted his value in white-ball cricket.

Praise for the Bowlers

During the post-match presentation, Pant took a moment to commend his bowlers, both pacers and spinners, for their contributions. He stated, 'You have to appreciate the bowlers; they set the tone for the match, especially when bowling first.' He specifically mentioned Mohammed Shami, Avesh Khan, and Digvesh Rathi for their excellent performances, along with Siddharth, who played a crucial role.

Letting the Bat Speak

On his batting performance, Pant remarked, 'Finishing the game is a significant plus for us. What ends well is all well. I know I'm preparing well, and I want my bat to do the talking. My teammates and management see my hard work, and that's what truly matters.'

Reflections on Match Perfection

Pant also noted that 'there's never a perfect match.' He emphasized the importance of being critical as a management team while also appreciating the positives. He concluded by stating that the focus should be on executing plans rather than overthinking, trusting in their preparation, and taking on challenges.
